Coming from the smallest DOC in Italy, spanning only 18 hectares, this is a very refreshing style of nebbiolo true to the varietal but uniquely different than the more commonly sought after options from Barolo/Langhe. Utilizing the Picotener clone of the varietal, and grown in much higher altitude (between 300 and 600 meters) this wine shows a much more energetic side of Nebbiolo with racier acidity and softer tannic structure. Still showcasing a beautiful bouquet of rose petal and violet and filling the palate with sensations of fresh picked raspberry and orange peel.
